Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Krato ("the Service"), operated by MahanX Technologies, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. The Service is intended for merchants who operate Shopify stores in India or internationally.

Section 02

Description of Service

MahanX provides an AI-powered chatbot platform ("Krato") for Shopify merchants. The Service includes:

โ€บAI chatbot that answers customer queries, recommends products, and recovers abandoned carts
โ€บMulti-language support (Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, and international languages)
โ€บAnalytics dashboard showing conversations, revenue attribution, and customer insights
โ€บIntegration tools for connecting Krato with Shopify, WhatsApp, and Instagram
โ€บVoice AI responses powered by advanced text-to-speech (Growth+ plans)
โ€บMerchant dashboard for configuration, AI training, and monitoring

The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free plan as described on our pricing page.

Section 03

Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

โ€บAll activities that occur under your account
โ€บNotifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@mahanx.in

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

Section 04

Shopify Integration & Permissions

By connecting Krato to your Shopify store, you grant MahanX permission to:

โ€บRead your product catalogue, collections, and inventory
โ€บAccess customer data necessary to power the chatbot (with your customers' consent)
โ€บRead and write to specific Shopify APIs required for cart recovery features
โ€บAccess order information for order tracking functionality
โ€บAdd/remove script tags to your storefront for widget deployment

Shopify Partner ComplianceYou remain responsible for complying with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

โ€บFailed Payments: Retried up to 3 times over 7 days. Non-payment = downgrade to Free plan.
โ€บTaxes: All prices exclude applicable GST. Tax invoice sent on each payment.
โ€บPrice Changes: 30 days' notice via email before any pricing change.

Section 06

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

โ€บViolate any applicable laws or regulations
โ€บSend spam or unsolicited messages to customers
โ€บImpersonate any person, entity, or Shopify
โ€บTransmit material that is defamatory, offensive, or harmful
โ€บInterfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
โ€บAttempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
โ€บUse the Service to build a competing product
โ€บReverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MahanX Technologies and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all content you provide (product data, FAQs, brand assets). By uploading content, you grant MahanX a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

MahanX does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate. We do not guarantee specific revenue outcomes, conversion rates, or business results from using Krato.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MahanX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

In no event shall MahanX's total liability exceed the amount you paid to MahanX in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Section 10

Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. You may export your data within this window by contacting us.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
